Agreement Acceptance

To receive emergency alerts (fire, medical, police) or related notifications, users must agree to all these policies and terms of service. By accessing and/or using our services, you acknowledge and agree that accessing and/or using our services constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions from that point onwards. If a user disagrees with any term of this agreement, they must delete their account to cancel their agreement.

We reserve the right to modify, supplement any and all content of this agreement at any time without prior notice or user consent.

Account

To use the emergency alert functions and receive emergency notifications within approximately 100 meters of the registered location, users must agree to this agreement. Account credentials (username and password) are provided by us when customers subscribe to the service. Users cannot create new accounts themselves. Users must commit to providing us with accurate information during service registration. We are not responsible in cases where incorrect user information affects or limits user rights.

To receive emergency notifications, users must allow notification access from the application. If notifications are not enabled, emergency notifications will not be received.

Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials secure, including legal responsibility and before the law, for all activities and behaviors performed through their account while using the application. We will not be liable for compensation to users for any losses or damages arising from leaked or compromised account information.

Application Usage

  1. When users press the Alert button, the system will use the pre-registered address information to determine the alert location. Alert notifications will be sent to all registered users within a 100-meter radius around that registered address.
  2. Users commit to only use the alert function in emergency cases and for the correct purpose. Intentionally sending false alert notifications, causing panic, or affecting others may be considered a violation of the law and may be penalized according to current legal regulations. The system has the right to temporarily suspend or terminate account usage rights in cases of violations.

Prohibited Conduct

Users have the right to use the application, however, the following behaviors are prohibited:

Making false emergency alerts. (False emergency alerts are a legal violation and will be penalized according to the law).

Exploiting the application platform provided by us in any form of legal violation, for any illegal purpose, and/or to harass, negatively impact other users' experiences.

Collection and Use of Information

Collection of Phone Numbers:

We collect phone numbers when customers subscribe to our service. The phone number is used as the username for the account login credential that we provide to users. This information is only used for account authentication and emergency notification services. We commit not to use your information for any other purposes than the initial purposes you agreed to.

Collection of Address Information:

Privacy Rights

You have the right to review and edit your personal information and can delete your account at any time. Users have complete control over their personal information in the application.

Security

We highly value user information security. We use encryption technology to protect users' personal data and minimize risks from unauthorized access. These security measures ensure that users' personal information is protected from intrusion and misuse.

Disclaimer

Users are responsible for providing accurate address information during registration. We will not be responsible for incorrect emergency notifications if the registered address is inaccurate or outdated.

The Emergency SOS application only supports emergency notifications (fire, medical, police) and provides safety guidelines to users. We are not responsible for any human or property damage if an emergency occurs while users are registered to use the application, even if the application encounters an error and users are unable to receive or accurately report the emergency.

Our privacy policy and terms of service will be regularly updated and adjusted to align with current regulations and to protect user rights. Therefore, please regularly check the content to ensure you are always informed of the latest information and can use our services with peace of mind.
